     FAQ

On-Grid Systems tie directly to your utility grid, offering an alternative source of energy in addition to what your utility company provides. By using on-grid solar systems, you can greatly or completely reduce your electricity bill. In addition, depending on the size of your on-grid system, you may receive monetary returns.

Off-grid systems do not tie to the utility grid and are sustained using a battery bank. The battery bank can be hooked up to an inverter, which converts DC voltage to AC voltage allowing you to use any AC appliances or electronics. Common off-grid applications include cabins, Off-Grid vehicles, boats, and dry camping. Off-grid systems can also be used in a variety of other applications, including emergency power backup during a power outage.

Energy Kit is an On-grid solution.

Polycrystalline Module 305-330 W per Kit.

This solution is modular and you can increase your power production as you want. Each 305-330 W PV Module comes with a micro-inverter to convert DC current to AC. Each String can have up to 16 Kits connected.

For an on-grid system, the solar panels don´t generate power during a Blackout.

This will also depend on the conditions. If it is cloudy and overcast likely not. If it is cloudy and bright still, then it will charge but it won’t be very much.

We recommend cleaning the solar panels on a monthly basis in order to keep their performance high.

All protective measures relating to work at height and fall prevention specified in national and health and safety codes and regulations shall be implemented before and during all work on roof structures. Roof constructions and installations can affect the fire safety of a building; Improper installation may create a risk in case of fire. Check with local authorities for fire safety guidelines and requirements for any building or structure in which the modules will be assembled or connected. Before installing the roof structure, the load capacity of the roof must always be checked.

Read and follow the recommendations in the Manual supplied with the Kit and available for download on this site, in particular the Safety, Maintenance and Equipment Warranty recommendations. The Technical Installation Manual must be scrupulously followed.

Yes. If you are intending on installing the panels yourself, or through someone who is not CPS registered then an application for Building Regulation Consent must be made. This application must identify how you will comply with the Building Regulations. The Local Authority may then inspect the work and ask for explanations or alterations to be made. Once the Local Authority is satisfied that the Building Regulations have been complied with, a Completion Certificate will be issued.

The User must connect the Solar Energy Kit to an electrical outlet and never to the switchboard. If you choose to connect to the switchboard, you must hire the services of duly accredited professionals to do so.

The Company is not responsible for a deficient, negligent or illegal installation and / or use and maintenance of the equipment, whose results or consequences will be solely CUSTOMER responsibility.
